Sitemap Frog is a local-first sitemap crawler. These terms explain how you may use the extension and the limits that apply to its operation.

01 Acceptance

By installing or using Sitemap Frog, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.

These terms apply to the Sitemap Frog Chrome extension and its accompanying privacy policy. The Privacy Policy explains how the extension handles data.

02 Permitted use

You may use Sitemap Frog only for websites and resources that you own, administer, or are otherwise authorized to crawl. You are responsible for confirming that your use complies with applicable law, contractual obligations, and the policies of every site you crawl.

Do not use the extension to bypass access controls, disrupt a service, or collect information you are not entitled to access.

You control crawl scope, rate limits, cookie use, and optional integrations. You are responsible for those settings and for any requests sent as a result of using them.

03 Code and branding

Sitemap Frog, its source code, extension package, documentation, visual assets, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and remain the property of the Sitemap Frog publisher or its licensors.

Using the extension does not grant you a license to copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, publish, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the code, extension package, documentation, or branding without prior written permission from the Sitemap Frog publisher.

This restriction does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights expressly permitted by applicable law.

04 Third-party services

Optional PageSpeed Insights and Moz backlink metrics are provided by Google and Moz. They are disabled by default and require your own credentials. Your use of those services is also subject to their applicable terms, policies, quotas, and charges.

Sitemap Frog does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, output, changes, or charges.

05 Availability and changes

The extension is provided as a tool to assist with sitemap creation and site review. Crawl results, audit findings, exports, and third-party metrics may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on or publishing them.

Features may be changed, suspended, or removed to maintain security, comply with platform requirements, or improve the extension.

06 Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sitemap Frog is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Sitemap Frog publisher will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to use of the extension.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

07 Changes and contact

These terms may change when the extension or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the updated terms.

For questions about these terms, contact the Sitemap Frog publisher.
